Karen Jean Smith

The forms and textures of my work in sculpture and pottery are informed by what intrigues me in nature.  I use a variety of clays, and my work is hand-built or thrown and then altered.  The pieces may be fired in an electric kiln or wood-fired depending upon the desired result.
