I enjoy decorating the surface of clay, mainly through the use of sgraffito.  Working in porcelain provides me with a clean white backdrop for endless possibilities.

 

I also love wood firing for the inimitable surfaces it lends to clay, and because of the community effort involved in the process. My first wood firing experience in 2017 cemented my interest in ceramics and my desire to be part of the CNY clay community.
